My daughter was out this week and she loves to take pictures (she is so good at this!) So I thought I would share them.My beautiful summer squash! I really love summer squash! This year the Lord has really blessed our squash plants and they are really producing alot of fruit!
Tomatoes not red yet still waiting!
Okay this is my daughter's picture and she said that I must add it!
Can you guess what it is?
You are right it is a beautiful "?" dragonfly!
She waited for this picture for quite a while.
Mr. dragonfly finally posed and let her take a picture!
He even smiled!
Does any one else like to garden?
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
God bless, Kathy

Rebecca,
Just stopping by to thank you for coming by my blog the other day. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to reply to you. With wedding stuff on my mind, blogging has taken a back burner at the moment. :)
Campmeetings are a real joy to us!! I would miss them soooooo much if I lived too far away to attend them! :( In fact, a campmeeting is where I met my future husband.
No, I didn't go to college.....there were a few times when I thought I wanted to go, but it would have been for the wrong reasons ( restlessness, hoping to "find" my future mate, etc. ). You're right, what better place could we learn to be a wife and mother other than being at home with the greatest teacher we could have......our own mother!! It isn't always easy to "rest in the Lord " for our future.....especially when others question your decisions. But, if you know what you're doing is God's will for your life, why should we worry about what others think??
Keep trusting in God and He won't let you down!
With prayers,
Courtney

I have just started a "garden" in pots and am doing so, so. It's so neat to see your garden and how well it's doing. I seem to have a problem with those pesky worms on the leaves... can't get rid of them... any suggestions??

Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for visiting our blog. I am glad that you started gardening. My husband and I really enjoy our little garden.
I must say though that I am not very knowledgeable about gardening at least not as knowledgeable as I would like to be.
As for your worms my husband and I had a similar problem in the past. We used a powder called Bug B Gon by Ortho this really helped a lot. Every year when I try to grow string beans the first leaves get eaten before the plant even gets a chance to grow. So now we always shake some of this on the plants as soon as they emerge. I hope that this would help you. You can probably find it at your local garden center.
God Bless, and Happy gardening! Kathy
