CVS Savings!

I started going to CVS about 7 months ago when I had learned about shopping with ECBS from Crystal over at Moneysavingmom. I am slowly learning the ropes. I haven't been as diligent lately as I should be but this week I think I did pretty good! Although I have to work on building up my ECBS again. Here is my deals for this week at CVS

I decided to try doing more than one transaction this week when I went to our local CVS. It turned out to be four transactions. I didn't know if the cashier would mind doing four separate orders but she was good about it and let me. Here our my deals for this week.
Transaction #1
12 Soy Joy bars @ 1.00 each
- 4- 1.00 Mfg Coupons
- 6 - Ecbs
$2.00 OOP
$12.00 ecbs earned!

Transaction #2
1 Colgate Maxfresh toothpaste @ 2.99
1 Colgate Total - @ 2.99
4 Huggie Natural Care Wash 4 @ 3.49 each (13.96)

$6.50 Mfg coupons
12.00 ecbs from order #1
OOP- $1.44
Ecbs earned $12.00
Transaction #3
1 Colgate Maxfresh toothpaste @ 2.99
1 Colgate Total - @ 2.99
1 Listerine Smart Rinse Mouthwash - $3.49
2 CVS Bandaides 2@ 1.99 each
2 CVS Cotton Swabs 500 ct 2@ 3.39 each (6.78)

$3.50 Mfg coupons
$12.00 Ecbs from order number 2
oop- $5.01
Earned Ecbs $15.47

Transaction #4
2 All Small and mighty 2 - $6.49 (these were B1G1 free)
( I had two $1.00 coupons after -sale and coupon they came out to $2.25 each)
4- Maxwell House Coffee B1G1 free 2- $4.99
(I had 4 Mfg coupons for $1.00 each) each can came out to 1.50 a can!

I used 8.00 in Ecbs
OOP- $2.47
No Ecbs here but I still have $7.47 ecbs from previous order.

I spent total- OOP $11.01
I received $ 85.11 worth of items for $11.01!
Praise The Lord!
I still hated to spend the $11.01 oop though. I really miss the CVS $/$$ !

I also had a rebate form that I found near the Listerine Smart Rinse for the full amount $3.49 (which I sent out as soon as I got home!) So really I only had to spend about $7.52 Not so bad!

Praise the Lord for His goodness and provision!
I want to thank Crystal for all of her help on her blog too!

So how did you do?
God Bless, Kathy

Cathy-
Thanks for your comment on my blog. As to how I accumulated so many ECBs, I happened to start doing CVS shopping when there were a lot of free after ECB sales. I also have a subscription to my local newspaper (Washington Post), and save all of my coupon fliers in a binder by week, so that I can go back and clip coupons for items that are free after ECB and make a little profit/cut down on OOP. I treat CVS shopping like a math problem for each week, making spreadsheets to figure out my smallest OOP. If you do MyPoints or have a Discover credit card, you can get CVS gift cards for free, which is so great :) I hope this helps some, if you have more questions, let me know!

Great job! Very Very organized and I am impressed!

When they send you your Listerine Rebate, they send you another coupon for $1 off Listerine and $1 off a Reach toothbrush also. :)
